Children are not born with a natural fear of the dentist, but they can fear the unknown. Our office makes a special effort to use pleasant, non-frightening, simple words to describe each treatment. We want you and your child to feel at ease from the moment your family arrives at our office.
We understand that every child is different and has a unique set of requirements for a positive experience. We will customize your child’s visits to suit his or her individual personality and needs.
Pediatric Dental Check-ups. Regular dental exams help protect your child’s oral health. They give your child’s dentist a chance to detect problems early, when they’re most treatable, and provide tips for caring for your child’s teeth.
Pediatric Dental Cleanings. Routine dental cleanings are equally important for children as for adults—maybe even more important, as they begin teaching the benefits of good oral hygiene from a young age, which can result in a lifetime of healthy smiles.
Pediatric Dental X-rays. X-rays should not be done unless there’s a reason. Most of the time, a dentist can visually inspect teeth and see decay. However, x-rays are an important part of dental health, and periodically necessary to your child’s checkup.
